@TabloidArtHistory
@TabloidArtHistory was a social media platform and zine exploring the intersections of art history and pop culture. It was created as a Twitter account by Chloe Esslemont and Elise Bell in November 2016. I permanently joined the team in April 2017, and we launched on Instagram in January 2018. We published playful comparisons of art history and pop culture imagery, growing an audience of over 80K across Instagram and Twitter. We closed our project in May 2019.
TabloidArtHistory was featured in Vogue Australia, W Magazine, The Guardian, and Vanity Fair and Slate France among others.
TAH was @TabloidArtHistory’s zine and ran for two issues, TAH VOL.1 and TAH VOL.2. The zines featured original work from over 43 contributors, including 27 essays, 2 poems, 22 illustrations, 3 photo series and 2 collectible prints. I co-edited the zines with Chloe and Elise, and was its art director and graphic designer. Both zines were premiered by Dazed (here and here). You can read both issues online here.
I am currently working on our archival project.

Content Creation & Editorial Projects
Independently and as part of @TabloidArtHistory, I have worked on digital content creation and editorial projects for cultural organisations and media outlets, including a month-long Instagram takeover highlighting four women photographers for Common Threads Press, exclusive content for Snapchat and Twitter for Sweet (Hearst Media) and the National Gallery (with @TabloidArtHistory), and creative direction on a 6-pages editorial spread for Polyester Magazine issue 8 (with @TabloidArtHistory).
